One love, one love, carries on.
The past couple of weekends have just been lovely and filled with some of my favorite people. I went antiquing, ate delicious barbecue, watched a frog jumping contest, sold tickets for a wonderful hippie bike and tasted some of the best brews in the Northwest.
The longer I have been in California, the more I have come to appreciate the rural towns with their small eateries, antique shops and old Gold Rush buildings. On Saturday, I went to Sutter Creek the first time, which is a lovely little town in Amador County.
I am so lucky to have such crazy talented friends all over the country. I visited Miss Lauren and Miss Cindy as they sold their delightful art and photos, despite the rainy weather.
Isnt’ this the cutest journal in the entire world?
I was finally able to lust after the wonderful Starshine in person. Cindy hand-painted the entire bike for the Pedaling For Parkinson’s Project. She plans to raffle off the bike and all the proceeds are going to help find a cure. Can you see me pedaling around on it?
I helped sell some Starshine tickets, and loved holding the big colorful roll.
I also received some wonderful jewelry from the two lovely ladies. Here is the necklace I got from Lauren. Kind of obsessed. Cindy also gave me one featuring a bit of Starshine, but I don’t have a good picture of that, yet.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful short week!
